Thornhill advised the board of Solara Renewables on its initial public offering on the London Stock Exchange, valuing the company at approximately £600m. The listing is among the largest renewable energy IPOs to complete on the exchange this year, and reflects continued institutional investor appetite for companies with established, revenue-generating positions in the energy transition sector.

Our Capital Markets team advised on all aspects of the offering, from initial structuring through to pricing and admission, working closely with the company's sponsor, underwriters and financial advisers. The team also coordinated closely with Thornhill's Tax and Financial Services Regulation practices to manage the disclosure and regulatory requirements attaching to the listing, including the preparation of the prospectus and engagement with the relevant listing authority.

Sofia Brandt, who led the transaction, said: "Solara's listing reflects a maturing market for renewable energy companies looking to access public capital, and we were pleased to support the board through a process that required careful management of both investor expectations and a compressed execution timetable."
