Thornhill is pleased to announce that Rachel Goodman has been elected Managing Partner of the firm, succeeding the firm's previous Managing Partner following a transitional handover period. Rachel takes up the role having spent eighteen years in Thornhill's Private Capital group, where she advised fund managers on formation, regulatory and governance matters, and will continue to advise a small number of longstanding clients alongside her new management responsibilities.

As Managing Partner, Rachel will be responsible for the firm's day-to-day management, including strategy, finance and oversight of Thornhill's international offices in London, New York and Hong Kong. She has also chaired the firm's Diversity and Inclusion Steering Committee since its establishment, and will continue in that role.

Commenting on her appointment, Rachel said: "Thornhill's strength has always come from the depth of our client relationships and the quality of our people. I'm looking forward to building on that foundation as we continue to grow across our three offices."
